Electrical Heat TraceHeat trace is often used to heat insulated waterlines that need to run in a cold environment, to prevent pipes of all diameters and lengths that carry water or process materials, from freezing in sub-zero temperatures. After the heating cable is attached, insulation is installed to maintain the proper temperature in order to prevent frozen lines. We work in conjunction with an electrical contractor for the connection of the end termination, and with a renowned supplier of heat trace products. We can use computer programs to calculate the necessary product from basic heat cable, to Class 1, to Division 1 hazard work area/explosion proof cable and controllers. Each product comes in a variety of wattages and voltages in order to suit customer needs. |
